FED has been working to increase understanding and friendship between Thai and Burmese by facilitating special events and workshops.  These special events include sports tournaments among different Thai and Burmese communities, jointly held religious ceremonies and other community-focused activities. FED also publishes a bi-monthly Burmese language Journal which contains information concerning migrant and labour laws, changes in the law, current affairs, news from inside Burma, and literary and poetry contributions from members of the migrant community. Our Website publishes news articles relating to Burmese migrants on a daily basis. It receives around 10,000 hits a month.
